What is Conexo?
Conexo is a daily word game with 16 words. You sort them into 4 groups of 4. Each group shares a connection, from a plain category such as pets to a wordplay link such as words that precede stick. Daydash publishes the original game at conexo.ws. This site runs an independent board in that format.
How do you play a Conexo game?
Click a word to select it, and click it again to remove it. When you select a fourth word, the board checks the group immediately. A correct group leaves the grid and shows its category. A miss clears the four words and counts as one guess.
How many mistakes does Conexo allow?
Conexo does not close the board after a fixed number of misses. Wrong groups stay on the grid, and each miss adds one to the guess count. The share line reports guesses and hints when you finish.
How do Conexo hints work?
The first hint outlines 2 words from the easiest group still on the board (group 1, then group 2, and so on). The second hint outlines a third word from that same group. After two hints, or once 3 groups are solved, the Hint button stops.
